COP
Communities of Practice
Network’s Communities of Practice (COP) groups provide a supportive space to exchange ideas, resources, and experiences, whether you’re leading a class or just interested in the subject. Members shape their COP, which can include:
Online ForumsÂ
Online forums and closed Facebook groups where tutors can share tips and class activities
Shared Library
A shared library for storing class resources like session plans and course guides
Presentation and Workshops
Zoom meetups for discussing topics of interest, plus workshops to develop new skills and presentations from experts in the field
And they are not just for tutors – most COP events are open to any U3A member keen to learn more. Log in to see the list of closed Facebook groups. To join, just click on the relevant link, which will take you to the Facebook link to ‘Join Group’.
