U3A Branding Style Guide
To maintain the integrity and consistency of U3A Network Victoria’s brand positioning, visual identity, and professionalism, U3A brand guidelines have been developed for the reference of U3A Network Victoria staff, contractors, suppliers, and our volunteers.
These guidelines were developed to meet mature-friendly communication principles. It is a guide for our logo, colours, typography, and style of photography that should be used in Network related documentation and communications, including examples of how design elements are to be applied.
Network’s separate Editorial Guidelines document outlines text formatting, writing conventions and other information relevant to producing Network materials and communication.
U3A Network Victoria encourages Member U3As to use this document to help create a single, consistent brand identity for the U3A movement in Victoria.Â
Free Canva Pro Licences
Canva is an easy-to-use graphic design app and 50 free Pro Canva Licences are now available for eligible U3As.
If your U3A is registered with the Australian Charities and Not for Profit Commission (ACNC), then you may be eligible to access Canva for Teams for free as part of their Canva for Nonprofits program.
It gives you and your team access to 50 free Pro level licences, with premium features, including the following:
- Access to premium images, videos, music, and other graphics
- Downloading designs with transparent backgrounds
- Upgraded Brand Kits: upload your own fonts and logos
- Publishing designs as brand templates
- Sharing designs and folders with your team
- Using template share links
What can eligible U3As use these licences to do?
Some of the U3As that have access to these free Pro level licences are considering using them not only for their marketing and advertising needs, but also to provide design courses with Canva for their members.
Network has a number of free Pro level Canva licences available for use by those U3As which are ineligible to receive the Canva licence.
Request your logos
Network can create a set of logos in various sizes and definitions for U3As who need custom logos for marketing purposes. The final files will be emailed to your U3A in a ZIP folder. Â
